John has been CEO of The Institute of Leadership since September 2020. He has spoken on leadership development and business agility at conferences across the world, and has held CEO, Director or Non-Executive positions in the UK, Europe, and South East Asia. He has done business in North America, Middle East, and CEE, in leadership development and business agility. John is a Global Advisory Board member of the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council, and an Advisory Board member of Newcastle Business School. He is a former consultant to the UN International Trade Centre in Geneva, and an adviser to the Cabinet Office on strategy and leadership. He is a guest lecturer at universities in the UK and Europe, and occasionally writes about business for online publications. Outside of work, John has qualifications in sports psychology and sports massage, and his interests include mountain biking, coaching, and writing articles about arcane economic issues.
